The families of the Octorara Area Little League, based in Christiana, have a lot to be proud of this week. So far, the OALL has claimed two of the five available 2012 District 23 All-Star tournament titles this summer.
The Octorara Junior All-Stars clinched their Championship beating Lampeter-Strasburg in back to back evenings 17-4 and 6-5. Octorara will represent District 23 proudly as they move on to the Section 7 tournament being hosted by Solanco Little League from July 18-21.
During the course of their tournament hosted by Conestoga Valley Little League, the Octorara 10/11U All-Stars scored 45 runs while only allowing 2 against them on their way to accepting the Championship banner.
They beat Solanco 13-0 in the Championship game. The Octorara 10/11U All-Stars move on the the Section 7 Tournament hosted by Schuylkill Valley Little League of Leesport, PA which takes place July 19-23.
