Most weeks Find It Friday has you looking up to find the subject of the weekly contest. Last week it was look out, as in just outside of town to the Pomeroy Mill in Stottsville.
This week FIF is back in town but looking decidedly down, as in at our toes.
Chris and Lisa Smith, perennial FIF winners and town walkers, found this week’s subject on one of their jaunts around the ‘Burg and passed it along at last week’s Firemans Fair.
The rules stay the same, you have a couple of days to submit a guess. The deadline f
or submitting guesses to the comment section below is Sunday noon. The week’s winner will be posted Sunday afternoon, or evening, depending when I get to it.
A correct guess gets you entered into a drawing for a free pizza in the form of a $10 gift certificate to Rocco & Anna’s on Main Street, Find It Friday’s sponsor.
So guess away. Submit as many guesses as you want and check back throughout the weekend for another clue or two.
Update: As of Sunday morning, just one correct guess by some guy who claims to know a lot about Parkesburg history (does the name Kerry Glenn ring a bell?). Don’t give up though, this one is in plain sight. Here’s a clue. You find these three things and you’re hot, as in close to finding “City No 2″, this week’s FIF subject.

Iron grate over the creek under First Avenue, between the Arms Hotel and the former Acme store.
Rocco’s and Anna’s restaurant on Main street !
Ken,
Wasn’t that MY guess? The Storm sewer inlet across from the Arms?
